Iryna Troskot, journalist and text editor from Irpin (Kyiv region, Ukraine). Before the Russian-Ukrainian war she was working as an editor-in-chef with site of literally criticism, as a journalist (mostly reportage and interview) and as a text editor for Ukrainian magazines and books.
In our globalized world we often do not know the people who live nearby. Especially if these people are different. Refugees and displaced persons are the same people as we are, but they have a different life story and often difficult experiences. To understand the world, you need to understand its people. To understand these people, they must be listened to. This is the main idea of short articles, portraits and stories about refugees from other countries who have found their refuge in Thuis in Oss. Why they were forced to flee? What is the situation in their countries? How did they go their way? How their experiences can be useful to others?
